Ugo La Pietra will be present at MIART 2018 with two projects belonging to his researches from the Sixties and the Seventies.

Studio Dabbeni gallery (Lugano) exhibits the work “AUDIO CASCO”, made in 1967 on the occasion of the exhibition at Galleria Cadario in Milan and also used in 1968 in the “Audiovisual Environment” made for the XVI Milan Triennale. “AUDIO CASCO” is made of a metallic structure, an engraved methacrylate helmet, and a speaker that transmits a flute music played by La Pietra himself.

Ca’ di Fra’ gallery (Milan) exhibits the work “Arcangelo metropolitano”, shown in various versions in 1977 in the Milan subway station. “Arcangelo metropolitano” belongs to the “reconversion project research” and is made of a street pole with methacrylate wings that have been hand-painted by the author (the wings are different and unique for each piece that has been made).
