GLOBAL TOOLS, 1973–75

Teaching workshops, Milan and Florence.
Archizoom Associati, Remo Buti, Casabella, Riccardo Dalisi, Ugo La Pietra, 9999, Gaetano Pesce, Gianni Pettena, Rassegna, Ettore Sottsass Jr, Superstudio, Ufo and Zziggurat met on 12 January 1973 at the Casabella magazine offices to found GLOBAL TOOLS, a network of workshops in Florence to promote the use of natural technical materials and the associated skills. It aimed to encourage individuals to develop their creativity freely.
During the GLOBAL TOOLS experience, Ugo La Pietra was part of the group about “Communication” (with F. Vaccari, G. Arra, G. Pettena).
