THE ALTRE COSE SHOP, MILAN, 1969
from THE IMMERSIONS
One of the first examples of the “hybrid type”, the Altre Cose Boutique (“other things”, with Aldo Jacober and Paolo Rizzatto) was connected to and existed in symbiosis with Milan’s first disco, Bang Bang. The commercial space was composed of an empty room with large cylindrical methacrylate containers hanging from the ceiling, which contained clothes. The boutique was linked to an underground disco by an inclined lift.
