NATURALE/VIRTUALE (natural/virtual), Milan Triennale, 1992

On one hand, the great global view; on the other, many perspectives on small communities. Society was increasingly experiencing two opposing trends: the organisation of mass-media chains, continent-wide; and a burgeoning need for small enterprises, a passion for local things, for dialects, for “group” action, for skillfully crafted objects. These two models produced attitudes and objects destined to coexist in pursuit of a possible equilibrium: from the virtual to the natural, and vice versa (exhibition for the XVIII Milan Triennale, 1992).
